At the same time, more than 100 students from schools including Kapa’a, Kauai, and Waimea High School, along with Island School, attended a similar event at Wilcox Medical Center.

The Kauai fair featured around 15 booths covering topics such as rehabilitation, nutrition, and other healthcare services. These stations provided valuable insights into different roles within Hawaii medical careers.
Amber Elkington, director of clinical operations at Kauai Medical Clinic, highlighted the importance of such initiatives. She noted that these events are not only about jobs but also about building the future workforce of Kauai.
